Thanks V, Ayako and the various sites that tweeted their reviews!
Unless there is an exceptional review that is worthy of its own post, the rest of the reviews will be gathered here. Many of the reviews are negative. There is nothing wrong with not liking a film, especially an indie that requires some thinking on the part of the viewer. As the saying goes, different strokes for different folks.
To those who wrote thoughtful negative reviews, thank you – your professionalism is appreciated and that is sincerely meant. To those few reviewers who went to great lengths to be insulting and offered little else well, congratulations on your vocabulary and the level of unprofessionalism that you displayed.
In addition, some links were via google alerts. I am sure there are reviews I missed. I will be happy to add them to the list – just send the link in or leave a comment – thanks.
Here are reviews from Variety, LA Times, NY Post (2/4 stars), NY Times, NY Daily News (2 stars), The Hollywood Reporter, TimeOut NY (1/5 stars), The Village Voice, FilmSchoolRejects (D-) and FilmRacket (1.5 stars).
