Round Up from the Intertubes – August 28 – Update!

Many thanks to mynameis_ayseveli  for sharing a photo with Keanu on instagram. The photo was taken while he was in Los Angeles but was posted about 6 hr ago. The photo looks familiar so it may be a repost.

Many thanks to _maymelanie for sharing her selfie with Keanu at Goodwood FOS on instagram. She posted the photo about 7 hr ago. It may be a repost.

Many thanks to Earl Dittman who posted 25 photos on FB and to Ayako for tweeting the link. Mr. DIttman interviewed Keanu in the past and included photos of his print interviews. He posted the following with the photos:

Keanu Reeves. While a number of journos I know find Keanu “difficult,” the two of us always got along swimmingly. Maybe because I got to know him early on, while filming My Own Private Idaho (1991). Keanu is an intensely private person, so I will honor that by just saying he is a righteous dude! This is only 1/10th of the times I’ve spent with Keanu….I can’t find any of my The Matrix trilogy cover stories! The last two pieces on this post (from Cosmopolitan Germany and Controversy) are from the Singapore-based Keanu fan site. (Thanks guys!)

Famous – “Hellboy” – Constantine – February 2005
Famous – “Keanu Goes To Bat” – Hardball – September 2001
Cosmopolitan GE – “The Tragic Hero” – Something’s Gotta Give – September 2004
Controversy – “That Modern-Day Renaissance, Movie and Rock ‘N Roll, Matrix Dude – The Replacements – October/November 2000

Many thanks to Totally Driven for tweeting the link to their review of The Whole Truth. They said the following about the film:

I can guarantee you that this film will keep you guessing, the plot turns are jaw dropping, and Renee Zellweger, well we didn’t even realize it was her until after the film.

I rate this higher than 5 stars cause of how intense this film truly is.

If you have a universal DVD player, you can get the Blu-ray from Amazon.co.ja (via Japan). The Blu-ray currently has 4/5 stars. It’s not clear if this film will ever see the light of day in the states so this may be the way to go.

Update: Many thanks to angelofberlin for letting me know The Whole Truth Blu-ray from Japan is a region A/1 disc so it should paly on US DVD players.
