So with all the Keanu love on the internet these days I thought I’d share my story! .
I was in Cali and going through a kind of tumultuous time in my life, my dad had flown out to visit me and we went to a restaurant on the beach.
After we ordered I glanced over and saw Keanu Reeves sitting at the end of the table with a huge party and nudged my dad.
After a few minutes building up courage I went up to him and stammered “Mr. Reeves I’m so sorry to interrupt but I was wondering if I could get your autograph.”
He turned to me and said he was with a wedding party but if I’d give him a few minutes he would come and say hi.
I returned to the table and, slightly disappointed, watched him walk out of the restaurant 10 minutes later. I just shrugged it off thinking celebrities will be celebrities.But not even five minutes later he amazingly came back and SAT DOWN next to me and proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation with us. .
My dad is normally pretty ambivalent towards celebrities but even he was left saying what a neat person Keanu Reeves was.
