Many thanks to one of my readers, JH, who sent in a report on the weather in the New Orleans area. He is located about an hour and 15 min from New Orleans. His report is below:
Please let concerned fans know that (based on the recent posts from the Covington cinema…I have no direct knowledge of his exact location), that Keanu and company are perfectly safe. They are about an hour north of New Orleans on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. They are well out of New Orleans and while they will likely get the rain and wind gusts associated with the storm, they will be perfectly fine (maybe a little uncomfortable if the power goes out for a couple of days).
This will be NOTHING like Hurricane Katrina as one person commented (which I went through).
