The Chicago Tribune posted their interview with Kitty Curran and Larissa Zageris. The ladies have published a book, For Your Consideration: Keanu Reeves. The book is a collection of essays that pay hommage to Keanu. The following was said about the book:
…dissects Reeves’ celebrity on many planes: through the lenses of conspiracies, memes, fan fiction, ethnicity and artistic collaboration. It’s a pop-culture smorgasbord that reveals the hows and whys of the celebrity’s staying power in the film industry since “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” (1989).
In the interview, the authors talk about why Keanu warranted the book, which films put him on the map, what would you ask him if you met him and what can average people take away from his greatness. Many thanks to L for sending the link to the site.
