The Whole Truth Reference?

The TImes-Picayune reported that their was to be a vote by the St. Bernard Parish Council to authorize Parish President Dave Peralta to negotiate directly with film and TV companies for leases of St. Bernard Parish properties. Mr. Peralta said:

…parish property is becoming more and more in demand by the film industry each year. As an example, he noted the recent $20,000 lease of the second-floor of the newly renovated Old Beauregard Courthouse to a film company for about a two-month stay.

I don’t doubt that they are many films that shoot at the courthouse but for the time frame given, The Whole Truth is the only drama with extensive courtroom scenes that I am aware of that is shooting in NOLA. What caught my eye was the lease for two months. Filming started on July 7 and is scheduled to wrap on August 7. Keanu Reeves involvement with the film and the switch to a NOLA setting were announced on June 13. Assuming that reference is to The Whole Truth, I would assume the lease started sometime in mid June to allow the crew to get the set ready and they extended it long enough in case the shoot takes longer than expected.
